Terms of Service

1. Who we are and acceptance

MinTranscribe (the "Service") is provided by Simple Metrics Ltd ("SimpleMetrics", "we"). By using the Service, you agree to these Terms.

2. The Service

The Service turns audio and video into transcripts and subtitles, through mintranscribe.com, the MinTranscribe API, and connectors for ChatGPT, Claude and other AI apps. One account and one set of minutes covers all of them.

3. Your content and responsibilities

• You keep all rights to the audio you send and the transcripts you get.
• You must have the right to use and share every recording and link you send, including the consent of people recorded where the law requires it.
• AI can mishear words, names and numbers. Check every transcript before you rely on it.
• You must not use the Service for illegal, fraudulent or harmful purposes, to infringe others' rights, or to interfere with or access the Service in unauthorised ways.
• Keep your API keys secret. You are responsible for use of the Service with your keys and connected apps.

4. Plans and usage limits

• The Free plan includes 30 minutes of audio a month, with files up to 30 minutes long.
• Pro costs US$10 a month or US$96 a year and includes 3,000 minutes a month, with files up to 3 hours long. AI for Docs Pro subscribers get Pro included.
• Each started minute of audio counts as one minute. Failed or cancelled transcriptions do not count. Free minutes reset every 30 days from when you sign up, Pro minutes reset each month, and unused minutes do not roll over.
• When you reach your limit, transcriptions stop until your minutes reset. We never charge you extra for usage.
• We may change plans and prices with notice; changes apply from your next billing period.

5. Billing and cancellation

Pro is billed in advance through Stripe and renews automatically until cancelled. You can cancel at any time from your account page. After cancelling, Pro stays active until the end of the paid period.

6. Refunds

If you have not used your paid plan, we offer a full refund for payments made within the last 30 days. For used subscriptions, refunds are decided case by case. Email [email protected] with your purchase email.

8. Intellectual property

The software, design and branding of the Service belong to SimpleMetrics or its licensors. These Terms do not give you any rights to them except to use the Service.

9. Suspension and termination

We may suspend or end access to the Service if you break these Terms or if needed to protect the Service or other users. You can stop using the Service at any time.

10. Disclaimer and liability

The Service is provided "as is". To the extent the law allows, SimpleMetrics is not liable for indirect or consequential losses, or for errors in transcripts, and our total liability is limited to the amount you paid for the Service in the 12 months before the claim. Nothing in these Terms limits liability that cannot be limited by law.

11. Changes

We may update these Terms. We will post changes on this page and update the date above.
